The National Household Survey, part of the 2011 census, revealed a wealth of information about the origins and habits of Canadians.
The map below displays selected data for census tracts in the Montreal census metropolitan area.
To help you explore the data, here are a few highlights, in form of questions. Think of it as a demographic scavenger hunt.

What area of Montreal have the most homes in need of major repairs? Where on the island are home prices lowest? Which non-official languages are most popular with Montreal-area residents?
